Cousin time!! Jana came to visit, megan and ryan are living in Utah temporarily, we just need Elsie!! Stella likes all the commotion!

Stella can scoot backward across the floor, still hasn't figured the forward part out... but sitting up on her own now!!

Stellas first "Peep," she loves sucking on it! Thanks Sara and Garett!

Stella swinging on Lola and Ava's swing-set! As you can tell she is just thrilled...

Stella looks so good in pink, I just couldn't resist....

I dramatically changed my hair color....I thought Stella may not recognize me, but she didn't seem to notice

4 months!!

We were lucky to get a visit from mom and dad. They gave Brent and I an evening out....it had been 4 months, we forgot how nice it was to watch a movie @ the theatre!! We also took mom and dad to an excellent peruvian restaurant for dad's birthday. Thanks for coming!!
Dad has a pal!

Hi dad!!

Check out that grip! One of Stella's latest accomplishments is grabbing and holding. She loves this little toy, and in particular it's antennae. (she loves sucking on it, sometimes it gags her...)

Stella loves this finger, always sucking on it. Recently however she has found her thumb!!
Stella and Zellie, the difference that 4 months can make!!
We made a visit to see our new little friend, Stella got to try on her cute fluffy booties. Thanx Miranda!! I think she found them on etsy...

Stella wears snowsuits while she naps in her swing in the cold basement while I run...we also have started to go outside in the jogging stroller, we love it!!

Stellas Stats @ 4 month appointment!

Weight: 15 lbs, 15 oz 95%

Height: 24.5 in. 75%

Head Circ: 16.5 in 80%

As you can see she is thriving!! Her latest accomplishments include...

*first bite of cereal, she seemed to like it but prefers nursing
*drooling, she wets through her bibs and clothes!! Are teeth coming soon?
*crawling backward, not forward yet (she can push herself anywhere)
*supported standing
*grabbing, holding
*sitting up, but not very reliable
*laughing
*going to sleep on her own! (we did a crash course on the crying it out method and it worked, she was setting her own bedtime for awhile, 1 am just wasn't working out for us!!) Still not sleeping all the through the night, but I can deal with one feeding!

Stellas Blessing Dress (retakes @ 4 months)

Why retakes? I wanted to get more pics of her dress up close (also I did have Jana's special request). She also was a lot happier today compared to her blessing day 2 months ago. It was a good thing I didn't wait another minute, her arms wouldn't have fit into her dress!
The headband, booties, and dress have coordinating rosebuds

check out that bicep!

Stellas Blessing (2 months behind)

Thanks to our good friend Ryan Nelson (once again), we have photos of Stella's blessing. I forgot to charge our camera... just so busy cleaning up the kitchen and making those breakfast casseroles! The storm came just in time to make the trip inconvenient for all...but we still had friends and family attend (thank you!) Brent ended up a little nervous the morning before when he actually had time to think about the blessing, but of course it was beautiful. She was quiet and cute throughout the whole blessing, and most importantly her name is still Stella Rose. (Brent had joked about changing it)

When I was anxiously pregnant with Stella I found this simple eyelet gown @ a little shop in American Fork, I sewed the tiny roses to it-found it perfectly suited to her name. It was a great day, and now she is 4 months old!! Today!

thanks to Aunt Kayleen!

I know this blog is sometimes like a Thank-You Card, but I just can't help myself. Kayleen found this cute reversible sweat suit @ a baby consignment shop. I think it's so cute, and I was given the perfect little ducky slippers to match! Here is her photo shoot....

bumbo!

I borrowed a "bumbo" from a friend. Stella loves it! I sit her up on the counter and she watches me do the dishes....It reminds us of a race-car seat, go Stella!
