Easter!!

Happy Easter!! Drink up Stella

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter Day with 2 Easter egg hunts (one with neighbor friends, and the other with Liesl and Algy) Krista and Mark went all out --homemade pasta, Pork on the bar-b-que and to die for cheesecake. We had a great time, Stella even sat at the kids table for about 10 minutes!!
Neighborhood Easter Egg-hunt, Stella did pretty good, but got bored after about 2 eggs

Easter Sunday Best, we attempted nursery...Stella just opened the door and walked out. We followed her, she went straight for the outdoor stairs.
Easter morning in bed, Stella was so excited to see her Easter basket sitting on the night-stand.
Stella loves to imitate her parents...She was loving this pose, kind of scary how close she watches...

Just taking a break on her daddy (this was yet another Easter Egg Hunt, a couple weeks before Easter)

She loves to get on her daddy's shoulders
Holly, Kai and us taking a break from the Easter festivities

She is getting taller!

my little girl...

We have a lot of fun playing with our photo-booth on our computer. Stella loves to watch herself on the screen. Just one of many....
Stella LOVES cats, and HATES dogs. This is our friendly neighborhood kitty, Voodoo. He lets Stella hold him, hit him, etc. Notice the shoe in the picture, she was trying to put the shoe on his paws. Stella has an obsession with going outside, this cat is one reason she likes going out there.
I was tired of going out and brought the cat inside this time...
Stella would not let me leave the store without this Fufa back-pack. She likes to wear it, but most of the time prefers to carry it around.
We love this little red hoodie. (thx Sara for finding it at a clothing swap!!) Again outside...
Stella went to our good friend Holly's little boys 2 year party...her favorite treat was this candy stick. She loves to eat things shaped like balls (cherry tomatoes, grapes, cheese puffs) or sticks (cheese sticks, veggies-except she can't chew them, pretzels)
We went to our cousin Tim's daughter (Lexi) baby blessing. We played for a bit while we waited for James and Summer to arrive. She loved the snow.

She LOVES babies (this one is Lexi). Loves the so hard that she makes them cry. Baby is one of her favorite words. She usually calls all children babies as well. She may have offended another 2 year-old at Burger King playland by referring to him as a baby.
This snow-suit is her favorite out-fit. It means she is going out...again which is her favorite thing. This year we haven't had a lot of snow, so she is wearing it just for the warmth...notice the teva sandals over her p.j.s...classy
Stella is wearing MY dress. Yes it's 31 years old. So cute, I love the smocking. (above) Below is Stella's favorite baby friend (Sovie) She lives just 4 doors up so she knows her very well.

Christmas time!

Stella LOVED playing after the ward Christmas Party...the party was fun, but she really liked it when all the chairs disappeared and she could just run free.... cutest little thing ever
This year we went to the Christmas tree yard and picked out a fresh-cut tree as a "fam" It was a beautiful tree for about 2 weeks and then got so dry that I considered taking it down before Christmas....next year we may go back to the faux tree as much as I love the real ones....

Eating treats from Grandma

Just looking pretty for church!

So much fun to see Lola and Ava and Grandma!

Pre-Christmas anticipation...

I took Stella to the mall on Christmas Eve just to walk around (she loves to run free in an open space) We found a huge Christmas tree outside, and huge moon-boots inside. We had a great time, she smiled at everyone and got lots of attention back....

Just sitting on a present
Stella loves her cousins Sara and Garrett, she likes to attack Garrett for some reason

Christmas exchange at James and Summers... we ate dinner, dessert, and even played games (yes Brent did participate--he isn't the biggest game fan)
Summer gave Stella this cute little onesie, "mommy's little elf", she is so helpful...

Grandpas funeral (and christmas pics....)

The whole family was at the funeral for our dear Grandpa Hanson, it was a beautiful funeral. My mom sang with my cousin Amberly and they sounded great. My Grandpa lived a long, honorable life so it wasn't a sad funeral. We realized we needed to take Christmas card pics ASAP so we used the outdoor light at the cemetery...(i know kind of funny setting for pics)
pouty
sad
happy
glad to be done
