Halloween!!

Trunk-or Treating....with the neighborhood gang
bumble-bee in flight

Stella really enjoyed her first Halloween, mainly because she was excited about walking around outside at night. (she loves being outside more than anything) I of course loved the variety of candy that Stella collected (actually that I selected). We went to the ward trunk-or-treat as well as walking our neighborhood. She was the cutest bumble-bee ever!

Stella loves her suckers...mainly because they are round (sweet helps) She likes anything round... cherry tomatoes, grapes, balls, balloons, round cheese puffs. It's funny she wants to eat grapes, but as soon as I cut them up she doesn't want them anymore.
I splurged and bought her a pottery barn treat-tote, with her name on it (we call it Stellaton)

We were pleasantly surprised by this clan...who are these people?

12 months stats and cute pics

Her first sprite

The cutest little girl at the party.... (my friend did a children's tea-party)
Stella's birthday roses
She loves the garbage can, i have to check it before I dump...once i found my phone inside...

She likes spaghettios, efficiency is key...
Stella only likes the electric tooth brush

My little pin-up girl at the Thanksgiving Point Barnyard

They had carnival games, but all she wanted to do was run away with the balls....

Stats and accomplishments!

Weight: 22 lbs. 13.5 oz (80%)

Height: 29.2 in (70%)

Head circ: 18 in (80%)

She is physically pretty well "rounded", starting to thin out! I just can't believe it has been a whole year! It seems like my water just broke.... One thing that I've been meaning to record happened back in June... Brent was at a restaurant with Stella and some old man came up to him and said, "Cute baby, he's gonna be a football player!" Brent didn't have the nerve to correct him so he just smiled and said thanks. So funny.

Stella took her first step the last day of her ninth month, by the end of her 10th month was walking very well. She now runs....

Stella LOVES to be outside, she has thrown crying tantrums until we take her out... even at 10 pm. It's going to be a long winter.

Stella survived ear piercing...Brent said I had to wait till she turned a year, well I did it 3 weeks early, so glad I got it done. She cried for about 30 seconds during the piercing and then hasn't really noticed them.

Stella LOVES playing with cherry tomatoes, picks them off everybody's bushes. She had one particular tomato that she would play with during the summer. One time I threw it behind the bushes because it was going bad, well she found it and continued to play with the bad tomato.

Stella has realized that her crib is just not suitable for sleeping, she prefers to play in her crib under the supervision of her parents and sleep right smack in the middle of their bed. We have tried to let her "cry it out" and she cries till she barfs and poops. Yea, we were those parents that used to say, "We will never have children sleep with us....haha"

Stella loves shoes (like her mama) We take them off for bed, then she brings them to us to put back on. She also tries to put on our shoes, so funny.

*loves cheese, anything cheese flavored, broccoli, and nursing!!

Stella is the best, we totally love this stage of her life right now! Brent is really enjoying his little girl and I couldn't be happier (even though I'm still sleep deprived)

Happy Birthday Stella Rose

The cutest birthday girl ever, (ok kind of partial) she loved her birthday sofa and even her hat!

The most beautiful birthday cake ever! Red Velvet inside
Thanks to my friend and client Rachel Folkman, we had a beautiful "Rose" party, to see more of her work, visit her blog alittlecuppatea.blogspot.com

She loved the frosting, too overwhelmed to really eat any cake

Her favorite present was this dumptruck, she immediately went racing down the pavilion with it and then fell flat on her face, got back up and did it again.

First Camping Trip!!

Stella's first camping trip was @ Potter's Pond up Huntington canyon. My mom's family does a camping trip every two years and we got to go! Brent wasn't able to come because he was also on a camping trip @ the very same time with the scouts. So Stella and I and I went with my family. She loved the outdoors, but was a little frustrated with crawling and walking on such uncertain terrain (so therefore was held most of the time). Sleeping in the same sleeping bag with her was awful....up every couple of hours, the whole camp heard her. It was so fun to see the family and introduce little miss Stella! We are glad we went and had a great time!
Just chillin in the wildflowers....
Stella LOVES other babies and small "people"

walking and popsicles

Off to church in our black dresses...
Stella can walk without this little cart, however w/ this cart she is a speed-demon!

It is so funny to watch her push this down the side-walk, life comes full circle, she looks like a very little old lady...perhaps even more stable!
Ok, so I had to let her have some popsicles this summer, not a regular thing, but she loves them!! I just let her get really messy and hose her off later.
